The community of Middleton Grange aims to assist parents in the education of their children, by providing an environment in which the Biblical truths of Jesus Christ are taught and lived.

The Middleton Grange campus is located near the heart of Christchurch. A 10 minute bus trip will take you to the centre of Christchurch City with its cafes, libraries and art galleries. The extensive grounds of the University of Canterbury are only a 10 minute walk from Middleton Grange. Middleton Grange School was established 40 years ago as an interdenominational Christian school. The name is taken from an historical homestead. This interesting old house was recently renovated and is used as a junior library and music room. Middleton Grange is made up of 5 schools on one site, so students have the opportunity to spend all their school years on the same campus.

Parents and teachers work together in the education of their children. It is more than a school. It is a strong community where academic excellence is encouraged, where the Christian faith is our inspiration, wisdom is aspired to and the talents of all are nurtured. All international students enrol in Middleton Grange International College because they have different administrative, academic and personal needs from domestic students. However, this does not mean that they only study with international students. We encourage international students to join domestic classes on the campus.
